Volume 4, No.3

Dear Andy,

Welcome to the third Project Learning newsletter of 2006.  This year has been very busy for us so far, especially on the Microsoft front.  We've provided content for the Office Solutions newsletter and also delivered 'boot camp' workshops for Microsoft customers (see below).  We've also finalised a White Paper about Microsoft Project usage, gleaned from a major survey we commissioned late last year.

Also this year, we've been busy gearing up for the forthcoming Microsoft Project 2007 release.  We've spent many research hours with Beta software versions getting to know the many in's and out's of this major new release.

If you're a regular newsletter subscriber, then hello again.  I hope that you like the content of our newsletters, and I'd welcome any comments or suggestions you may have (just see the link at the base of this newsletter.

If you're a new subscriber, welcome.  As above, I hope you like what we're doing and that you want to tell your friends about us.

Sincerely,

Andy Jessop
CEO and Founder

Microsoft Project Survey White Paper

As promised in the last newsletter, we've finally analysed the findings from our Microsoft Project survey.  It's taken us a while to sift through all the data, as we received almost 1,000 responses from all corners of the globe.  We've published this analysis as a White Paper, where you'll find plenty of interesting statistics, together with many forthright user comments.

This newsletter's tips and tricks takes on a different format than normal.  Earlier this year, Microsoft UK asked us to provide content for the UK At Work newsletter.  As this article was very well received we've provided it for our newsletter subscribers as well.  Just click below to see the article on our website:

Over the next few months, we're looking to provide more articles for Microsoft.  As and when these are published, we'll let you know.

Fast Track your way to understanding Microsoft Project

Earlier this year we ran a number of Microsoft Project 'boot camp' workshops on behalf of Microsoft UK.  Well over 100 people attended these sessions and the feedback from all attendees was incredibly positive.  Responses such as: "I didn't know that Microsoft Project could do that" and "I now know where I was going wrong..." were common.  A consistent theme across all delegates was a desire to make Microsoft Project work for them, despite having no formal training prior to attending the workshops.

Due to the overwhelming popularity of those events, we've decided to add this type of training to our UK public schedule.  Starting In September, our new 'Fast Track' course will run on a monthly basis, in both our London and Leeds venues.

To find out more about the content of this exciting 'Fast Track' workshop, just take a look at:
