Evaluate Project Mentor

Since we launched Project Mentor back in June, we've received many hundreds of requests from people who want to try before they buy.  We're delighted to announce that you can now do this.  Just go to this page on our website to evaluate on line:

We also have a limited number of evaluation CD's available.  To request one of these CD's, please follow this link:

Technical Tips and Tricks
How often have you wondered why work, duration and unit values change when resources are added to or taken away from tasks?  Why is it that you can assign resources one way and the schedule is easy to interpret, and then you assign the same resources differently and the schedule seemingly makes no sense?

If you click on the link below, these tips and tricks illustrate how you can use the Effort Driven field to your advantage, creating a more realistic schedule of work against tasks in the process.

Join the official Microsoft Project User Group
Are you looking for additional ways to enhance your skills and experience with Microsoft Project?

Project Learning has teamed up with MPUG Global, the official association for Microsoft Project, to provide a limited time membership offer.

http://www.projectlearning.net/mpug_membership.htm

If you follow the link above, you can get 15 months of MPUG membership for US$99 - the normal cost of just 12 months membership.  You'll need to act quickly as this offer expires on October 15 2004.

Forthcoming MPUG meetings
If you are already a member of MPUG (or you are contemplating becoming one), a great way to share information is to attend a chapter meeting.  The next UK meeting is on October 12th at Microsoft UK's offices in Reading.  For a list of all forthcoming chapter meetings worldwide, just use the link below:

If there is anything that you would like us to cover or include, please complete this simple form. While we can't promise anything, we'll certainly take a look at it.
