Why our classroom courses provide an effective training solution

Why do some courses have prerequisites?

To get the best from certain courses, previous knowledge is a definite advantage. That's why we have carefully deigned our courses to compliment each other. For example; if you are considering Microsoft Project training, a degree of project management knowledge will enable you to get the best from the course and hence your use of the software. If you are looking to attend one of our Masterclasses, some existing Microsoft Project knowledge will be required. You can gain this knowledge by attending a Microsoft Project course or by the use of our Project Mentor.

Use a Project Management Essentials course to compliment a Microsoft Project Essentials course

Before learning the intricacies of Project Server, consider self-paced learning using Project Mentor

To help you prepare for a Prince qualification, consider the Project Management Essentials course

Should I attend a public course or a company course?

Our most popular courses; Project Management Essentials, Microsoft Project Essentials and Microsoft Project Professional / Server are available as a publicly scheduled event and also as a company-specific course for you and your colleagues. Our carefully thought out pricing structure makes a public course the most cost-effective option if you have three delegates or less to be trained on one specific event. If you have four or more delegates, a company-specific course will provide you with the lowest per-delegate cost.

Most public courses run once-a-month, every month

With a company course, you decide the date and the location

We can provide hardware and software for company-specific courses

Can I combine computer-based and tutor-led training?

In today's competitive business environment flexibility is the key. We recognise that not everyone can afford the time away from their business responsibilities to attend classroom-based training courses. This is why our classroom courses and our computer-based training tool Project Mentor have been carefully designed to complement each other. By combining these two learning methods you can develop a learning method that suits you, maximising the use of your time in the process.

Why are most of our public courses based in Leeds?

As we are based to the north-west of Leeds, the majority of public courses are delivered at our premises. This provides you with two distinct benefits. Firstly, we provide a pleasant learning environment that is easily accessed by road, rail and air, together with free parking. Secondly, as our training centre is a part of our offices, we will run a public course even if we only have a small number of delegates in attendance. Indeed, the majority of our delegates who have travelled from London (or even further afield) think the journey 'up north' well worth it.

We have easy road access to the M1, M6, M62 and A1

London can be less than 2˝ hours away by train

Leeds-Bradford airport is a 10-15 minute cab ride away
