A company is only as good as the people that work within it.  A brief resume of the key people within Project Learning Limited will confirm that we have the experience, enthusiasm and ability to provide the level of quality service that our customers demand. 

 

 

Andy Jessop

andyj@projectlearning.net

Andy has been in the Project Management industry since 1983.  Working as a customer support manager for the Pertmaster system, he was responsible for pre-sales and post-sales technical advice to new and existing customers.  For the same organisation, Andy became the training manager, establishing training and consultancy services to supplement the company's growing product offerings.  As product marketing manager, he was then in charge of managing new releases of software products, together with sales and marketing initiatives.  Andy then joined Deepak Sareen associates in 1993 and became responsible for the company's sales initiatives on their Project Management and time recording applications.  He left them in 1994 to establish Project Learning Limited.

In addition to being certified as a Microsoft Project User Specialist, Andy was commissioned by Microsoft to write the certification exam for Microsoft Project 2002.  Andy was a Vice President of the South East of England chapter of the Microsoft Project Accociation (MPA) prior to migrating to New Zealand in 2007.

Andy tends to get involved with:

Presenting training solutions for major customers, both in the UK and overseas. 

Creating the Project Learning portfolio of Microsoft Project and general Project Management courses.

As the principal contact between Project Learning and Microsoft Corporation, testing new software releases and conducting training on behalf of Microsoft UK. 

Advising clients in how to adopt EPM and Programme Management disciplines.

Being an active member of the Microsoft Project Partner community, both in the UK and worldwide.

Creating and maintaining content of Project Learning Limited's Project Companion and Project Mentor software.

 
 
 

Diane Gosling

Diane started in Project Management in 1985 as a Project Analyst for the International Stock Exchange in London, working on large software development projects to support the main arm of the business. 

Following five years with that organisation, Diane attained the role of Senior Project Analyst, before leaving to join Hoskyns plc in a Senior Training Consultant role.  In this role, Diane was responsible for linking recognised methodologies and estimating techniques to the software tool, Project Manager Workbench (PMW).

Since then, Diane has worked for major consultancies and training providers primarily as a Senior Training Consultant, advising major organisations how to implement Project Management and the related tools more effectively.  On one assignment, she was seconded to the European Space Agency.  Whilst working in Holland, Diane was responsible for implementing best-practice Project Management procedures, which included documentation and change control procedures.

In 1999, Diane attained a First Class Honours Degree in Project Management from Leeds Metropolitan University, following two years of distance learning study.  Diane is now a fully-fledged PRINCE2 Practitioner and is currently working towards becoming a PRINCE2 Accredited Trainer.

Diane's main involvements are:

Presenting training solutions for major customers, especially in the IT community. 

Advising clients in the most effective use of Project Management methodologies, techniques and related tools.

Working with clients in the practical implementation of Programme Management.

Establishing and maintaining Project Learning's training standards and professional accreditation processes.

Acting as the principal Project Learning contact for the PRINCE2 methodology.

Creating and managing Project Learning's portfolio of specialised training affiliates.
